Our Story
Jessica and Charlie met at work, in the summer of 2017. For years they were friends and co-workers. In early 2020, they decided to give dating a go. It didn't take many dates before they both knew that this was something special. When the pandemic and quarantine came, their new relationship practically became a long-distance one, but they made it through. Their first big trip together was a road trip to Asheville in the fall to explore and go hiking with Rocky (Jessica's pup, who is now officially gaining a dog-dad!). A road trip to go hiking in the mountains was the most socially-distanced trip they could think of, but it ended up being so much more than just a pandemic-safe trip. While Jess grew up going on hiking trips in North Carolina, and Charlie had visited Asheville before, experiencing the magic of fall in the mountains together made this a special place for the couple. They've come back to Asheville several times and love it more and more each time. They got engaged in September 2022, but they'd known since Fall of 2020 that Asheville was where they would tie the knot!
